We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. The students told us all about their experiences during the extended break, sounds like some fun times were had!
This week we will be talking about transportation. We have a surprise special guest coming in on Wednesday who gets to work in a very interesting mode of transportation. We think the kids will be pretty excited to meet him! We will talk about all different modes of transportation and where and how they are used.
Our focus letter this week is letter V. Vincent Vampire Bat will help us learn about this new letter. If your kids have any ideas for words that start with V for our letter board, please encourage them to share their ideas with us!
Since winter arrived over the long weekend, please make sure that your students come to school with all their snow gear! We go outside unless the temperature/wind chill is less than zero, so pretty much all winter long! Many kids have the same gloves/hats so please make sure that everything is labeled with your child's name. We know that it's a lot to bring to school, but it is super helpful if their snow gear comes in a separate bag from their backpacks. It's makes organization and keeping things together so much easier for everyone. Thank you in advance!
