Next week we will be talking about Apples. We will learn about the life cycle of the apple, learn where you find apples, learn about the different types of apples, and even make applesauce! We will also do our favorite thing and read many books about apples!
Our letter of the week is Dd. Dee Dee Deer will help us learn the sound of the letter and we will work on writing and learning words that start with the letter D.
If you haven't done so yet, please return the food questionnaire that was sent home in the Friday folder last week. We know of your children's allergies but if there are other reasons they cannot have certain foods we need to know before doing fun cooking projects in class.
If your child is bringing their rest time items to and from home in the big blue bags, please make sure that you continue to use the blue bags. We understand they may break or get lost from time to time, but it would be helpful if we could use the same ones for as long as possible.
Book orders are due on September 18.
