The next two weeks we will read a whole bunch of books written and illustrated by Mo Willems. If you haven't heard of Mo Willems before I'm sure you will after this week. His books are so fun to read and the pictures help tell the story too. As your children begin to read, these books are great because you can each pick a character and read their speech bubbles. Both of my kids loved these books when they were younger. And to make it even more fun, Mrs. Liz and I have finger puppets we use while reading the Piggy and Elephant stories. During stations we will do a Mo Willems like illustration, A Knuffle Bunny laundry machine, Friendship Ice Cream cone, a story page, a slop recipe, and paint a pigeon. Our letter is M, Missy Mouse.
Reminder, there is NO SCHOOL March 29-April 7. I hope you all have a happy and eventful spring break. 🌷💐🌸
